Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, born October 7, 1963, is Ghana’s Vice President, known for transformative policies. With an economics background, he served as Deputy Governor of Ghana’s Central Bank and contested as a running mate in the 2008 and 2012 elections, becoming the country’s most influential Vice President.

Osei Tutu II, born Nana Barima Kwaku Duah on May 6, 1950, is the 16th Asantehene since April 26, 1999. Besides serving as KNUST’s Chancellor, he holds key positions in the Grand Lodge of Ghana and the United Grand Lodge of England. Osei Tutu II, highly revered in the Ashanti Region, studied in Accra and London, earning a degree in Human Resources Management and Public Administration. Returning to Ghana in 1989, he established businesses and actively engages in public discourse.

HON. KEN OFORI-ATTA

MINISTER FOR FINANCE

Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta became Ghana’s Finance Minister on January 27, 2017, with 30+ years in finance. Co-founder and former Chairman of Databank Group, he retired in 2012. Prior to Databank, he was an investment banker in New York. Ofori-Atta holds honors from Yale and Columbia, co-founded Aspen African Leadership Initiative, and was the first African to testify at the US Congress for the AGOA law. Twice honored among Ghana’s Top 5 Most Respected CEOs, he holds a BA in Economics from Columbia and an MBA from Yale. Married with four children.

PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

Prof. Victor Kwame Agyeman, Esq., became Chairman of the Public Services Commission on March 16, 2023, succeeding Dr. (Mrs.) Janet Ampadu-Fofie Esq. With 36+ years in public service, he holds a BSc (Hons) in Natural Resources Management and a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen, U.K. A qualified Solicitor and Barrister since 2012, he served as Director General of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Prof. Agyeman is a Fellow of GAAS and GIF, known for international acclaim and 130+ publications, showcasing expertise in natural resource management, law, and transformative leadership.

AUDITOR GENERAL

Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo, has served as Acting Auditor-General and Deputy Auditor-General. Joining the Ghana Audit Service in 2004, he rose from Assistant Auditor-General to Head of Internal Audit. With seven years at the Serious Fraud Office, he became Head of Finance. A global resource person and workshop facilitator, Mr. Akuamoah has conducted international audits and contributed to INTOSAI initiatives, including leadership training.

HEAD OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVIC

Dr. Nana Ato Arthur has been the Head of the Local Government Service of Ghana since 2017. With a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the University of Bonn, he is a development engineer and local government expert. He led the Presidential Transition Sub-committee for selected regions, was the Member of Parliament for KEFA constituency, and held roles including Central Regional Minister and Deputy Central Minister.

HEAD OF THE GHANA CIVIL SERVICE

Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, Head of the Civil Service since August 2023, holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Ghana. Former Chief Director for the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, he chairs the Human Resource Committee of the Ghana Statistical Service. An External Examiner and Assessor, he’s active on World Bank platforms and has contributed to national development. Married to Mrs. Cynthia Aggrey-Darkoh, they have three children: Andy, Ann, and Andrea.

Mr. Samuel Pyne, an experienced teacher with M.A. degrees in Local Government Administration and Governance, currently teaches English at Anglican Senior High School Kumasi. Active in education and community development, he has served the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and held roles in local governance. Mr. Pyne’s diverse experiences make him an accomplished individual contributing significantly to his community.

Mr. Abraham Antwi, a distinguished professional, holds a BSc in Planning and an MBA in Finance from KNUST. His academic journey includes an MSc in Justice and Security Administration, a LLB from KNUST, and Barrister-at-Law qualification from the Ghana School of Law. A licensed legal practitioner and member of the Ghana Bar Association, he excels in planning, finance, justice, and security. With a commitment to positive change, Abraham is a consummate professional with a well-rounded understanding of various disciplines.
